What DailySEO stores and why. Last updated August 19, 2026. Questions: support@dailyseo.co.
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains what DailySEO collects when you use the platform, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf and the choices you have. It applies to our website and to the application you log into.
2. Information we collect
We keep the data set deliberately small and tied to features you use:
- Account data: your email address, display name and role, plus authentication records needed to sign you in.
- Site data: the URLs you add, the brand profile we research for them, keywords, content plans, generated articles, images and publishing history.
- Connection data: the credentials, tokens or signing secrets you provide so we can publish to your WordPress, Shopify, HighLevel or custom endpoint, and read-only Search Console access if you connect it.
- Usage data: records of automated runs, AI model usage and cost, error messages and audit information used to operate and debug the service.
- Invitation requests: the email address and site you submit when asking for private-beta access.
3. How we use it
We use your data to run the features you enabled — researching your brand, finding keywords, writing and checking articles, publishing to your site and reporting on results. We also use it to secure accounts, prevent abuse, provide support, measure usage and cost, and improve the product.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use your private site content or credentials for advertising.
4. Google user data (Google Search Console)
Connecting Google Search Console is optional. If you choose to connect it, you authorise DailySEO through Google OAuth using the read-only scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly. We request the narrowest scope that supports the feature and we never request write access to your Google account.
With that authorisation we access only the following Google user data:
- The list of Search Console properties your Google account can access, so you can pick the property that matches the site you added.
- Search performance data for the property you select — clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position, and the associated queries, pages, countries and devices.
- Sitemap status for that property, and index-status information for specific URLs of that property when you or your reports request it.
- OAuth tokens (access and refresh tokens) needed to keep the connection working, plus your Google account identifier for that connection.
5. How we use, store and share Google user data
We use Google Search Console data for one purpose only: to show you and your team search-performance and indexing reporting for the site you connected inside DailySEO, and to inform the keyword and content recommendations we make for that same site.
We do not sell, rent or transfer Google user data. We do not use it for advertising, ad personalisation, credit assessment, lending, or any purpose unrelated to the features you enabled. We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalised or general-purpose artificial intelligence or machine learning models, and we do not send Google user data to third-party AI model providers.
Humans do not read your Google user data except where you explicitly ask us to for support, where it is necessary for security or to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymised for internal operational reporting.
Google user data is stored encrypted in transit and protected at rest, in the same access-controlled database as your other account data, and is accessible only to systems and authorised personnel that need it to operate the feature.
6. Limited Use disclosure
DailySEO's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. Revoking access and deleting Google user data
You can disconnect Search Console at any time from the site's settings inside DailySEO. Disconnecting revokes the token and deletes the stored tokens and the cached Search Console data we hold for that connection, normally immediately and in any event within 30 days.
You can also revoke DailySEO's access directly in your Google Account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. To request deletion of Google user data outside the app, email support@dailyseo.co and we will confirm the deletion.
8. AI processing of your own content
Article research, drafting and quality checks are performed by third-party AI models acting as processors on our instructions. Only what is needed for the task is sent, such as your brand profile, keyword and research notes and the draft being worked on. Content you provide is not used to train third-party foundation models, and Google user data is never included in these requests.
9. Processors we rely on
We share data only with providers that support the service, under contract and only for that purpose:
- Cloud hosting, database, authentication and file storage for the application itself.
- AI model providers for research, writing and quality checks (never Google user data).
- Search and keyword data providers used to size and score keyword opportunities.
- The publishing platform you connect, which receives the articles and images you choose to publish.
10. Credentials and security
Connection credentials and tokens are stored server-side and used only to perform the publishing and reporting actions you configured. Access is limited to systems and staff that need it to operate or support the service. Data is encrypted in transit, and sensitive integration secrets are protected at rest. Access to production systems is restricted, authenticated and logged. No system is perfectly secure, so please use strong, unique passwords and revoke access you no longer need.
11. Sharing an article for review
When you create a review link for an article, anyone holding that link can view, edit or comment on that single article. Reviewers are asked for a name so their comments are attributable. Review links never expose your Google account or Search Console data. Only share review links with people you trust, and revoke a link when the review is finished.
12. Retention
We keep account and site data for as long as your account is active. When an account is closed we delete or anonymize the associated data within a reasonable period, and delete stored Google OAuth tokens and cached Search Console data within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal, tax or security reasons. Articles already published to your website stay on your website and are under your control.
13. Your rights
You can request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, export of your content, or deletion of your account and its data by emailing support@dailyseo.co. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to certain processing or lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. We respond to verified requests within the period required by applicable law.
14. Children
The service is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
15. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser storage that are necessary to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences such as the last site you viewed. We do not use advertising cookies.
16. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect the transfer.
17. Changes and contact
We will update this policy as the product develops and will tell you about material changes. For privacy questions, data requests or anything relating to Google user data, contact support@dailyseo.co. Our service is operated at https://dailyseo.co.
